Trader traceability, tax reporting and product-safety notice
Why provider identity is collected and how DSA, DAC7 and product-safety duties may apply.
Know-your-business and trader display
Before a trader can offer to EU consumers, the platform may need identity, address, contact, registration, payout-account and self-certification information, together with reasonable verification. Required trader information is displayed in the offer; false or incomplete data can block publication.
DAC7
Where NomadVillage is a reporting platform operator, it performs the required seller due diligence and reports qualifying rental, personal-service or sale-of-goods activity to the competent tax authority. Sellers receive the information reported about them. Collection for DAC7 is a legal obligation, not optional marketing consent.
Product safety
VillageBox sellers provide the manufacturer/responsible person, product identifier and applicable safety or warning information. NomadVillage operates notice, recall and authority-contact processes appropriate to an online marketplace; sellers remain responsible for conformity and corrective action.
