Privacy Notice
How NomadVillage uses personal data, the lawful bases involved, retention, recipients and individual rights.
Controller and purposes
NomadVillage (Bruno Cesar Alves Marcelino) is controller for platform accounts, support, security, platform analytics, provider onboarding and direct communications it determines. Data is used to operate accounts and transactions, comply with law, prevent abuse, answer requests, improve the service and send optional marketing only where permitted.
Legal bases and consent boundaries
Depending on the activity, processing relies on contract steps, legal obligations, legitimate interests assessed against user rights, vital/public interests where applicable, or consent. Accepting a privacy notice is not a universal legal basis. Newsletter, research participation, future contact and operational processing remain purpose-separated.
Recipients, transfers and security
Relevant data may be shared with the selected provider, Stripe, hosting, email, security and professional advisers under appropriate roles and contracts. International transfers require an applicable adequacy decision, safeguards or another lawful mechanism. Sensitive identity and bank information should remain in regulated hosted flows whenever possible.
Retention and rights
Retention follows the purpose, statutory limitation, tax/accounting, safety and dispute requirements; technical settings must not be treated as a blanket legal period. Individuals may exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and consent withdrawal, and may complain to the competent supervisory authority.
